BrainLea provides online learning services for families. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, how we protect it, and how parents or users can manage their information. We keep the language simple so the policy is easy to read across regions.

1Information We Collect

Parent and account information

Names, email addresses, phone numbers, login details, location/timezone settings, course selections, booking history, and support messages.

Learner information

First name or display name, age or grade range, class progress, attendance, learning preferences, submitted code, saved projects, and classroom activity needed to deliver lessons.

Classroom information

Live class audio, video, chat, screen sharing, session notes, attendance, and recordings when recording is enabled for safety, quality, or lesson review.

Payment and transaction information

Checkout status, invoice details, payment confirmation identifiers, tax or billing records, and failed-payment events. Full card numbers are handled by the payment gateway and are not stored by us.

Technical and usage information

IP address, device and browser information, pages visited, referral source, session events, cookie identifiers, error logs, and platform interaction data.

  • Deliver live classes, demos, assignments, projects, dashboards, certificates, and support.
  • Schedule sessions, send class reminders, manage teacher allocation, and maintain classroom safety.
  • Process payments, prevent fraud, maintain billing records, and resolve checkout issues.
  • Improve course quality, platform reliability, user experience, and parent-facing communication.
  • Measure website performance and parent-facing campaign results.
  • Comply with legal, tax, safety, security, and dispute-resolution obligations.

3Third-Party Data Processors

We do not sell or lease personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us deliver the services. These providers are expected to protect the data and use it only for the service purpose.

4Children and Parent Controls

Learner accounts are intended to be managed by parents or legal guardians. We ask parents to provide consent before a child participates in paid classes or submits personal classroom information.

  • Parents can request access to learner information.
  • Parents can request correction or deletion of learner information, subject to required records we must keep.
  • Parents can ask us to stop further collection when continued participation is no longer desired.
  • We do not use children's personal information for behavioral advertising.

5Regional Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, export, or object to the use of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.

We keep information only as long as needed for learning delivery, account support, safety, billing, legal compliance, and dispute handling. Data may be processed in different regions by our team and service providers, using reasonable safeguards for cross-border processing.
